“Hi, I am Rod Klann and I am the owner of Rod’s Quality Meats. I grew up in Madras, Oregon, surrounded by the beauty of nature and immersed in the values of hard work and integrity. As a young man, I eagerly participated in 4-H and FFA, where I developed a deep connection with livestock through various projects. It was during those formative years that I witnessed the transformation from a living animal to nourishing food, thanks to the skilled hands of the meat cutters.

The artistry and precision with which they transformed carcasses into cuts suitable for families to enjoy fascinated me. That's when I realized that I wanted to dedicate my life to this craft. I embarked on a journey to master the art of meat cutting, and over the past 45 years, I have honed my skills and refined my understanding of the meat industry.

With each passing year, my passion for helping people with the meat of their meals has only grown stronger. There is something profoundly satisfying about assisting individuals in selecting the perfect cuts, offering cooking tips, and witnessing the joy that comes from a well-prepared meal shared with loved ones.
